Journey
PEL was founded by Mr. Ashok Kanodia in Faridabad, Haryana, to
manufacture PCBs.
PEL receives license to manufacture telecom transmission
equipment viz. Access MUX, Line Systems, Radio equipment &
Subscriber Radio Terminal (SRE) for Multi Access Rural Radio system
(MARR).
Transfer of Technology agreements signed with Wagner Schaltungstechnik of Germany for Multi-Layer PCB, ITI Ltd. for Primary and Second Order MUX and C-DOT for 10-channel Digital Radio for rural connectivity.
- New facility covering 6,500 square meters constructed in Noida, UP to manufacture PCBs and telecom equipment.
- PEL lists on the Bombay stock exchange.
Receives ISO 9001 quality standard certification for its operations.
Signs Transfer of Technology agreements with SAT of France for SDH Optical Terminals and Marine AIR systems (MAS) of New Zealand for DXR-200 series of Digital Microwave Radio.
MTNL awards SDH STM 4 system for Mumbai & Delhi networks worth Rs. 150 million
Signs maiden contract from the Indian Air Force worth Rs.100 million for supply of Multi-channel Radio Relay (MCRR) on Vehicular platform.
- Bags an assignment from the Army Static Communication Network (ASCON), a working group of the Indian Army to deliver a concept proving mobile platform node.
- Bags a Rs.35 million contract to setup a Pipeline communication system for ONGC
MTNL places PO for Rs.50 million for supply of MUX
HQ Northern Command PO of Rs.20 Million received for supply of TDM Access equipment
- Signs a contract with IAF for supply of Digital Voice & Data Recorder (DVDR) for their ATCs worth Rs.200 million.
- BSNL & MTNL place orders worth Rs.220 million for supply of MUX
- DGQA registers PEL as preferred vendor to Indian Armed Forces
- PEL designed Secured Communication System (PST12M) selected for Indian Army
- PEL / DRDO designed Bulk Encryption Unit deployed in the Army network
PEL Rugged Versatile Multiplexer awarded Rs.100 million contract by Indian Army
DRDO CABs awards V/UHF Airbourne Radio for AWACS Rs.20 million
- Contracted by C-DOT to Install & Commission their ATM based system in Indian Navy ships
- PEL designed and developed Heavy duty Lead screw Electro Mech Mast for TATAs
- Exports PDUs to GE China and GE Israel for Nuclear CT Scan machine
- PEL executed model site Bhatinda, under MAFI project for Tata.
- Contracted by Israeli UAV supplier for calibration of their ground stations for Armed Forces
- Receives AS9100 quality certification
Exports HFDF antennas to Israel worth Rs.30 million
- Contracted by Israeli UAV supplier for calibration of their ground stations for Armed Forces
- Executes Rs.150 million Wi-Max Communication system for ONGC offshore platforms
Awarded Rs.150 million contract by BEL for Supply, I&C activities for IACSS network in 30 IAF sites
Sets up Rs.330 million VSAT SATCOM network for BSNL in A&N & LKD islands via HUB at Bangalore
- PEL designed and developed Positioners/Rotator approved by ELTA and order placed on their behalf
- Elected by Elbit EWS system to provide technical service support
Executes first orders for Cable Harnesses for EVs
